Leslie Ellison is an expert wedding planner, having earned the prestigious designation as an Accredited Bridal Consultant (there are less than 40 in the world) by The Association of Bridal Consultants. In January 2010, Leslie was named by The Association of Bridal Consultants as the first South Carolina State Coordinator, as well as The Knot's 2010 Pick for Best of Weddings (Wedding Planners). As a designer, planner and consultant, Leslie believes the bride has complete control over her wedding, but with Dreamy Affairs Signature Events as your wedding planner and
consultant, she and her extraordinary team can turn that dream into a reality!
Whether intimate or extravagant, Leslie has planned weddings from cathedrals to beaches, local to destination, with 65 to 650 guests. No detail is ever too small for the staff of Dreamy Affairs Signature Events. Leslie's brides frequently describe her as extremely calm and organized, detail-oriented and extraordinarily creative, truly-gifted and a new member of their family. Leslie's brides have been on the cover of Carolina Bride magazine as well as featured in several statewide magazines.
Liz was born in South Carolina but hopped around the states
until her family settled in Indiana. After high school, she fled the
snow and returned to the Palmetto State. In 2008, she graduated
cum laude from the University of South Carolina.
After attending a friends wedding and spending time behind the
scenes, she developed a passion for it. Soon after, she contacted
Leslie at Dreamy Affairs to become part of the Dream Team. After
working with Leslie for several years, she has learned to combine
her creativity and organizational skills to turn a dream into a reality.
She works hard to make sure everyone feels like a guest at the
wedding, including the couple and their parents.
Mellisa has loved everything about weddings since she was a little girl. From wearing her mothers doilies around the house to planning the perfect wedding for Barbie & Ken! Mellisa began her journey in wedding planning in 1996 and has fallen in love with everything wedding since. What is her favorite thing about planning a wedding? Getting to know all the little things about the bride and groom, what an honor to be a part of such a milestone in a couples' life. With her attention to every little detail, ability to organize the craziness it may become , and her love of creating the perfect evening, she sends the couple off in the end as dear friends.
Mellisa has a background in floral and event design, catering, hotels, corporate events, luncheons & showers, tradeshows and large banquets. She has been part of the wedding industry for over 15 years and has made it a priority to make each wedding she does unique to the couple she is working with by staying current on up-and-coming trends, new vendors, and small design touches that make your event stand out. She has a Bachelors Degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management from the University of South Carolina, and her studies focused on meeting & event planning and catering management. If you asked her friends and family, she is always the one they call to help carry through the details for a family affair!
When Mellisa is not working on her newest project she is spending time with her wonderfully supportive husband Joey or chasing their 2 year old daughter Addisyn.
Grace was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia where she developed a passion for weddings and events. She is
attending the University of South Carolina, where she is
majoring in Hospitality Management with a concentration in Meetings and Event Management.
Her passion started when she was nine years old when she saw the film, The Wedding Planner. She developed a love for the industry that has since bloomed. Grace is such an endearing person, which makes her profession as a planner so fitting. She has an energetic personality and brings youthful creativity to Dreamy Affairs. Her drive to learn and grow is what makes Grace such an asset to this company and this profession.
